I'm trying to get Brad Huse on the horn to get his reaction about the 15 minutes of fame, so to speak, MSU is getting because of this. Obviously it's a relatively unfortunate reason MSU is being put in the spotlight, but it's a reason that matters nonetheless and goes on because of the NCAA's bureaucratic process.
Thoughts?

Rules are rules and this kid shouldn't have broken them. He should have known better
...having said that, this happens to a player at a marquee program and he is allowed to play.

SD, it is a dumb rule. The NCAA is nuts. This is terrible for MSU and coach Huse. That program just cannot catch a break.
