Shaq to players who leave early: Think twice

It should be noted that after he retired from the NBA, he has since earned his doctorate in education...

So when you look at it from that aspect, I understand it,'' said O'Neal, who then told Emmert that if up to him the rule would ''probably say three-and-done.''

For players who do leave early, O'Neal's advice is to make sure they go back and finish their education. He said it's not a matter of how much money they will make, but how much they're going to keep.

Thanks Shaq a lot of players are not physically ready or talented enough to withstand the rigors of the NBA.

A lot are lacking in mental toughness as well.

Agreed some should look at Tim Duncan he stayed 4 yrs at Wake Forest and still was the no.1 overall pick.It was said he could have left as early as his sophomore yr in'95 and been selected no.1 overall.
