Hey folks how about these two mid major powers battle it out for all the marbles in April for the NCAA hoops title among men!!!!

Gonzaga could easily win the entire thing. Best center in college basketball and a top 10 PG. Deep, veteran lineup.

No, and their only other loss was by an ot buzzer beater at #10 Butler. The Zags also pulled an SHSU with the Big 12 beating OSU, Oklahoma, Baylor, and KSU. This is a very good basketball team with a shot to win it all.

That is why I say these two teams could make history two mid majors battling for it all in April.All the powerhouses aren't playing well this year so why not???And the winner could have a player that might gain the attention of the NBA!!!

Win a game or two then fold against a top seed, perhaps. Butler is THE top mid-major right now. They have sizzle and substance. Gonzaga is all sizzle and no steak.

BTW despite the A-10 being #7 in RPI and the WCC being #10, Gonzaga is #12 and Butler is #18. Butler's SOS is 58 and Gonzaga's is 61.

Pretty damn equal teams.

Paul was just insane in that game against Gonzaga - dude just couldn't miss. If he's on like that for an extended time Illinois will be a tough out in the tourney. With that said, when he goes cold the Illini go cold.
