The glory days when Lindsey Hunter put the SWAC on the map by lighting up schools like UCONN(39)Kansas(45)Illinois(48).He did a interview on his schools website http://www.jsutigers.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; about his days at JSU and the ppl he met along the way.

Southern was the only SWAC school to beat them that year, we took two out of three from them. Could have had a sweep but Lindsey Hunter beat us on a game winner in Jackson.

Yeah I saw that game he was cold as ice in the beginning but he started to heat up from three point country.Unfortunately it was too late.Wonder what Hunter and company would have done vs Ga.Tech???

93-78 In the second half vs Ga.Tech the Jags came out as a team like a house on fire hitting 15 (3's)!!!!!

I think they could have won, but Southern ran those guys to death. One of my favorite games to watch, Tech didn't have a deep bench at all.

Yeah Coach Jobe made like McClendon and turned that game into track meet instead. But JSU made out nicely in the NIT with its double overtime win over UCONN scoring 39 points. At one time Jobe was an assistant coach for Cremins at Ga.Tech.

I also remember the near upset that Tx.Southern almost pulled vs Arkansas in '95.If only Randy Fuller had hit those foul shots ppl would talking about that game now!!!!!
