Jeez, only 7/11 teams "eligible" for the tourney this year. 6 total games. If the total attendance of these 6 games tops 35,000, kudos to the teams for getting fans there.
I used to say the CAA tourney was tops amongst "mid major's", even over the A-10 and Missouri Valley........no more.

Crickets......
Meh, give it time. With vcu and ODU gone, that leaves more conference wins for other schools. Someone else will emerge as a leader and maybe their fans will follow.

Yeah but with a healthy athletic budget, they won't be down forever.

They must have raised their admission standards following the "Where is Iowa" video that went viral in 2010 when they played UNI in the Bracketbuster game...
Which I see they have removed from Youtube....

If UD Men's Basketball wins the CAA, the CAA should just fold.

Congrats to the JMU Dukes! I hope any third=hand scuttlebutt about Coach Brady not being retained, now goes down the toilet.
Pizza party! MM pays, right?!

Thanks! Last time JMU won the CAA tourney & went to the NCAAs was 1994. I was one of the hundreds of JMU fans who stormed the court at the Richmond coliseum then when Kent Culuko hit a last second 3 pointer to give JMU the 1 point win over ODU in a packed 12k coliseum. Earlier tonight I watched on TV hundreds of JMU fans storm the Richmond coliseum court again for the 1st time in 19 years. One of the announcers said JMU brought about 8k fans. The official attendance was announced at 6 thousand something, which was was probably about 97%-98% JMU. Regardless, it was over half full, and the JMU fans were loud. If it was on a Saturday or Sunday think JMU would have brought a good bit more fans...

Even when they were there the conf. tourney was no where near the MVC tourney.
Roughly 80k people through the gates over 4 days and 9 games, same city for years, same arena for over 20, championship game during prime day time hours on CBS without anything else on...
