Isn't this your first "Goddess" reference this season? ;)

The Viks were already a little thin this year, then they lost Oregon State transfer Kate Lanz to a season-ending injury in December & Oregon State transfer Angela Misa to a season-ending injury a few weeks ago. They mostly played like shit following the Misa injury (lost 5 of 6 with the only win coming in OT against winless Weber).

Before you say anything else...you might want to consult AZ.

Apparently Idaho State will be without starting F Cydney Horton for this week's tournament. That could give Sac State a break since they were really handled by the Bengals in the two regular-season meetings.

No explanation given.

Eastern leads the Bobcats by 1 at the half. The Eagles do not have a good history in this tournament as a higher seed.

The Eagles have gone on a 21-2 run to take control.

Laura Hughes has been on fire the last several minutes, but now she's down with an injury.

Eagles win by 15. They will play NoCo Friday morning, while the Lady Griz will play the winner of the last game.

Jessa Jeppesen hits a buzzer beater to give Idaho State a 1-point lead at the half after they trailed by double digits. The Hornets, however, are 6/11 from the arc.

Hornets now lead by 11 with less than 8 minutes left. ISU can't hit perimeter shots & Sac has really been out-hustling them the last several minutes.

Sac State wins by 13 to avoid the 3-game sweep (just like NoCo). If Kuhns had been able to finish around the basket, they would've won by a bit more. The Hornets & Lady Griz will play each other in the Tournament for the first time ever Friday afternoon.

All three games today ended up as double-digit wins after they were, at most, 1-point games at halftime.

MSU 53-68 EWU; Diminutive PG Kylie Huerta flirts with a triple-double (12 points, 9 assists, 6 steals)
        • The Bobcats punctuate their late-season collapse by getting nobody in double figures
SAC 73-60 ISU; Kaela Oakes & Ashleigh Vella combine to go 5/27 in what may have been their final games
        • The Hornets shoot 50% from the arc and win turnovers by 9

One thing I forgot to mention: this was Eastern Washington's first win as a favorite in a Big Sky Tournament game since the 1987 semis.

NoCo beat Eastern in the first semifinal in overtime after blowing a 9-point lead at the end of regulation. D'Shara Strange had 27, though her shooting % wasn't great.

Montana blows out Sac in the first half, then rides a rather aimless second half to a 21-point win. Lady Griz vs. NoCo tomorrow afternoon—winner to the NCAAs, loser to the WNIT.
