Kinda wish I could make the trip up to Missoula, but lack of funds keeps me in Utah watching on BSTV
GO WILDCATS

I know the feeling, Ryan. I wish I could go to the Pond in Anaheim for the BWCT (it's UOP HC Bob Thomason's last hurrah), but I have no fundage, and even if I did, I can't evade work to get there.
I'm disappointed that my Hornets aren't going to Missoula, but we had our chances and didn't capitalize. I know it's a crap shoot in a tournament setting, but I suspect that the only team capable of knocking off Montana will be your Wildcats. That will be mighty tough to do on their home floor, but it CAN be done. I wish you guys well in the attempt.

Thanks Superhornet, I hate the fact that Weber's game starts at 3 on thursday, I don't get off work till 3:30, so I'm gonna miss the whole first half, ugh.

It's just a temp-to-hire (one step up from a temp), but it IS paying some bills. That's a bit more difficult than it would be otherwise because my monthly check is divided up FOUR ways instead of TWO. That means I have to pay my rent in at least two chunks, and my other bills get pushed back (not to mention backed up). But they're due to make a decision on hiring me permanently in April or May, and that will not only eliminate that problem, but the agency seems to think it will entail something of a raise. I AM grateful for whatever is there, though. And it IS full-time, and they don't mind signing off on a bit of OT if it happens to come up in the course of the work week. Plus, because the shift starts at 6:30 and ends at 3, I can still coach track, which is a HUGE plus for me.
Thanks for the wishes, Jon.

2 hours. Might have to blow off the rest of the day and go watch part of the Weber/NAU game to get warmed up for the Cat game tonight.

NAU has a lot to be proud of. They, um, made it to the arena without dying in a horrible bus crash.

After last season, making to the tourney is a step up.

I was referring to their tournament performance specifically (& not being really serious). Gabe Rogers was on a tear for a while, but came back to Earth a bit the last two games.
I know NAU improved a bit this season. Rogers & Saldivar are gone, though, so improvement next year will be difficult.
Meanwhile… NoDak is smoking Suutah. Up 16 with less than 10 minutes left.

Southern Utah isn't doing well, but we should give props to groundbreaker Damon Heuir: the first caveman to earn a DI scholarship.

ND up 20 with 4 seconds to go. I don't think SUU can come back from this.

Bears now up 7. The Bobcats have looked lost on offense this whole half.

And then they remembered this was the Big Sky Tournament and they were the Bobcats…

NoCo wins by 13 to face Montana. All 6 quarterfinal games ended up with double-digit margins (even though 5 of the 6 were one-possession games at halftime).
