I hope a meteor lands on Cameron with 5 seconds left in the game. Score tied at 82.

Not sure why I put this in Other Sports, just used to the setup on egriz I guess.

I personnally like Duke. Albeit, I am biased as my Grandfather went there and I used to spend weekends watching basketball and football games with him.

I really don't understand the hate. It seems no different than ASU hate for winning so much.

A lot of the hate is from the hype.

Dukie V, ESPN constitantly telling us how great Duke is, how great the fans are, how great coach K is.

Then, they get handed a #1 or #2 seed when they should be a #4 to #6 seed, win a game or two against weak competition, and the cycle starts over.

I finally heard an ESPN commentator trash Duke this morning. He called Coach K's recruiting style stupid because he doesn't recruit "one and done" players and ends up with a bunch of "small" athletes who have no power or wingspan. When if you look at how college ball has been dominated the past decade is by "one and done" players taking their team far (Mello, Durant, Beasley,Oden etc). Duke has no game besides shoot the ball. They can't play defense and their point game is awful. Match Duke up against a UConn, Oklahoma, UNC teams with these "one and done" players Coach K won't recruit and Duke will be destroyed.

Duke showed what team they were last night, a shooting team. When they were cold in the first half UNC was up by ten, when they were cold in the second half UNC scored over 100 points. A one dimensional team won't work and is why Duke has sucked. One of the funniest sights is seeing a bunch of face painters, who've been waiting in line for 2 months to go to this game, simultaneously cry.

What has Coach K done that isn't great? Did you see the National Team this year? Of course I realize Coach K has made mistakes, but he is a class act in my book.

I would hate to play at Duke because of there fans. It is intimidating. Do you want a peaceful environment? No, you want home court advantage, and Duke certainly gets a lot of help from there fans.

I'll give you the seeding issue. But the same can be said for others teams, including UNC. But, this year UNC is the team. Hansburough is way over-rated (and walks almost everytime he gets the ball), but Lawson is unbelievable and the reason they are so good.

Oh yeah ... Dick Vitale needs to be hit by a Mack Truck "baby with a capitol M". That douche is the most annoying announcer in all of college sports. Lou Holtz is second.
