You would not expect any academic problems at this school.

I'm sure the returning hoops cheaters will be serenaded appropriately when Harvard visits the other seven Ivy schools this year. New arena coming too, I see. I wonder who will get the naming rights.

You had to page back pretty far to find this thread. I had forgotten about it.

Yes. Bonarae covers Harvard hoops on the other board, but she doesn't post much over here.
Should be a good Ivy race this year. Harvard and Princeton have to be favored, but Columbia could be a dark horse (they beat us by 15 at their place last year) and several other schools will be competitive. Hell, we almost lost to Dartmouth at home last year.

I agree with H and Pr having good shots to get the coveted Dance ticket... let's not forget Columbia yet.

Lost to UConn for the third straight year, 61-56. Why don't they come to our place for a change?

That's not how it's done. The UConn way is to go undefeated in non-conference with every game played at home and maybe 2 or 3 at a neutral site. Resume the regular season by going .500 or below in conference. Conclude the season by griping about why the Huskies didn't receive a top 4 seed due to their overall record.
Wash....rinse....repeat.

Meh. It will teach them some humility. Now if they lose to Cornell on the road this weekend, THAT will be a setback!

Too bad the Ivy League Presidents don't allow their student-athletes to compete in the post-season.

Just in football, which is why it makes no sense.
Yale is making a real run this year, but the bulldogs have to play Penn and Princeton this weekend.

Yes I know - just pointing out the hypocritical nature of the Ivory Tower League

Harvard needed double OT to finish off Columbia on the road, 88-84. Cornell tomorrow, with the Big Red finally getting an Ivy and D-I win against Dartmouth today, 70-67.

Harvard pounds Cornell on the road. Yale stays even with OT win at home over fading Princeton.

Harvard left Penn in the cold 83-63. Meanwhile, Yale smothers Cornell 82-65. Princeton tomorrow, with a high chance to end the 25 year old Jadwin jinx for Harvard's men.

Jadwin jinx for Harvard's men has finally ended. On Feb 3 1989, only Coach Amaker and 2 Asst Coaches were alive during the last time Harvard beat Princeton at Jadwin. 59-47 is the final score. Yale won't play until tomorrow.
