Since when did BYU join the West Coast Conference if that is the case then they should be picked over conference champ Gonzaga.

As stated before they should be kings of the WCC over Gonzaga. When March Madness rolls around those two should be on center stage!!!!Wildcat Ryan wrote:dal4018 wrote: Since when did BYU join the West Coast Conference if that is the case then they should be picked over conference champ Gonzaga.
Byu has been in the WCC for at least 3 years now.
St.Mary's might play the role of spoiler?!?!?!?SuperHornet wrote:I'd love to see UOP pull the upset to take the WCC auto-bid, but you guys are probably right that it'll be a battle between Gonzaga and BYU.

That is amazing Gonzaga beating BYU in this manner.Maybe they'll exact some payback this year.Davies is he lost because of injuries???GrizFanStuckInUtah wrote:dal4018 wrote: As stated before they should be kings of the WCC over Gonzaga. When March Madness rolls around those two should be on center stage!!!!
Except that Gonzaga has owned them since they joined 2 full years ago, this will be the 3rd year in the WCC for BYU. I am not sure who will win it this year but if memory, what little is left, serves me right, BYU lost Davies this year but not much else.

Yes, there is THAT possibility. Then again, UOP DID beat St. Mary's last year....dal4018 wrote:St.Mary's might play the role of spoiler?!?!?!?SuperHornet wrote:I'd love to see UOP pull the upset to take the WCC auto-bid, but you guys are probably right that it'll be a battle between Gonzaga and BYU.

He graduated and is now free to have sex with lots of women.....he is in the NBA.(Not sure if he will make the final roster yet, but there for now)

Since going to the WCC BYU is 1 win and 4 losses to Gonzaga for conference play. (1 Tournament loss)
Maybe St Mary's will return the favor??SuperHornet wrote:Yes, there is THAT possibility. Then again, UOP DID beat St. Mary's last year....dal4018 wrote: St.Mary's might play the role of spoiler?!?!?!?
Maybe BYU isn't getting the talent it use to get???GrizFanStuckInUtah wrote:dal4018 wrote: That is amazing Gonzaga beating BYU in this manner.Maybe they'll exact some payback this year.Davies is he lost because of injuries???

They already did. A month or so after UOP beat St. Mary's in a tournament, St. Mary's beat UOP in a regularly scheduled game.dal4018 wrote:Maybe St Mary's will return the favor??SuperHornet wrote:

Was this game televised ???SuperHornet wrote:They already did. A month or so after UOP beat St. Mary's in a tournament, St. Mary's beat UOP in a regularly scheduled game.dal4018 wrote:Maybe St Mary's will return the favor??
I doubt it. UOP games are rarely televised except on the Internet. That trend will continue this season, as the WCC TV plan only includes UOP something like TWICE, while Gonzaga gets a ZILLION TV games (or so it seems).dal4018 wrote:Was this game televised ???SuperHornet wrote:

Any NBA material in the WCC you can spot this season???SuperHornet wrote:I doubt it. UOP games are rarely televised except on the Internet. This is the first time I can say I anticipate a great upcoming hoops season!!! Wish this was March right now!!!SuperHornet wrote:I won't know until I see some games. Gonzaga generally has a few, and there are usually a couple spread between the Bay Area teams. Not sure about the others.
This new version of the ACC will have a Big East flavor!!!!tampajag wrote:sure not looking forward to this new ACC, FSU is gonna continue with their growing pains.
Wait until Louisville shows up next season...tampajag wrote:sure not looking forward to this new ACC, FSU is gonna continue with their growing pains.
