I'm pretty sure they all will be aside from the title game (Watch Big Sky = Eversport).

I'm glad we avoid PSU in the first round. I don't think we match up well with them, especially after they crushed us at home earlier in the season. Our games with MSU were close and we didn't have Demps for either of those games.

If we can pull off the win I'll be heading up to Reno for the 2nd round and beyond.

Have you checked out Eversport since you've come back to civilization?

It's gotten better as the season has gone on, but still has issues for me at times.

Eversport is pretty good if you have a fast connection (2.5 Mb or better). It's more unforgiving that past iterations of Big Sky TV if you don't (like me). Montana's stream is particularly annoying because it only streams at 2.5 Mb and has no alternate resolutions (even though the gogriz non-conference games did). The video quality, especially with its weird interlaced phasing of everything that moves, doesn't justify that bandwidth requirement either.

Ironically, the archived versions of the Montana games do stream at multiple resolutions and they don't have the interlaced oddities. It's like they're converted to a totally different video format or something. :?

IMO, the Big Sky should look into livestream. I watched a couple non-conference road games that used it (Griz men @ Pepperdine, Lady Griz vs. Drexel) and it streamed at 480p with no problems for even my mediocre connection. You could also choose your own resolution rather than having to rely on automatic switching.

From what I've read, the PBP for the men's tourney will be some guy named Mike McDowd while the color analyst will be Dancin' Joe Cravens.

PSU up by 6 at the half on Da Bears. Cameron Forte has 21 of the Vikings' 36.

I'm wondering if Portland State can make a run in this thing. Raw talent seems to have more of an edge in conference tourneys than in the regular season.

PSU almost gave the game away in the last 5 minutes, but they hold on to win 74-67.

UND and SUU played a very entertaining game that ended with SUUs failure to get of a 3 point shot trailing by 3 with under 15 seconds to go. UND wins 85-80.

Cravens is unbearable, if the BSC's idea was to get random college hoops fans who check out the action interested in the BSC, he is not the guy to have on the air. BSC should have had the NAU guy do the play by play. He can make watching paint dry sound fun to watch.

Maybe they can get Krista Redpath to do the men's commentary, too… :?

Is that the homer that called yesterday's games? No.

Hornets lead MSU 36-31 at the half. Strings with 16, Demps and Hornsby with 5 boards each. We need to be beter from the stripe (3/7). This should be a close finish.

Homer? :? I mean, she played for the Lady Griz 16+ years ago, but she definitely was not a homer during the UM/NAU game.

Hornets hold on to win by 4. The Bobcats fail to win a Big Sky Tournament game for the 16th. time in the last 17 years (including years they didn't make the tourney).

Hornets hang on and "upset" MSU 79-75. Hornets build 12 point lead and go completely cold from the floor in the final 10 minutes. Decent (not great) FT shooting ensured a Hornet win. 8-)

Time to make plans for Reno. :coffee:

I was just saying that to get a rise out of you. I didn't watch many of the basketball games yesterday, but when I did she was on a rant discrediting the job Harkleroad is doing at Sac.

At least she understand the situation of the game she is calling, unlike Cravens.

What did she say about Harkleroad, out of curiosity? I think he's done a pretty good job, though it's been thus far on the foundation created by Muscatell & Craighead.

I was hoping MSU would tie it just so he would tell the Hornets to foul.

Something about the stats don't count when looking at Sac State. I didn't really catch the context though so it was likely in jest.

Well he wouldn't shut up about fouling MSU before they could get a desperation heave off in the final seconds. Whoever said, "hey, you know what? Cravens would make a great court side analyst for the BSCT" deserves to get fired. Jesus just awful.
