Four #1 teams have been knocked off already in Division I, including Louisville’s convincing loss to unranked Texas Tech tonight.

I guess KU will move up.

And the #4 Maryland Terps lost at Penn State tonight. 8-)

Maryland decided to avoid becoming #1 by losing to a team they should have beaten before moving up in the ranks.

From what I have seen so far Ohio State is head and shoulders above the field. We will see how long it lasts.

and down they go to as soon as I mention how impressive they are to a decent Minnesota team. Maybe you're right. Maybe Butler or Depaul can take them. :o

Might not be the best UNC team ever but that was a beat down at the Kennel last night. GU looks pretty damn solid.

Hope they lose Saturday.

One of the guys on the UOP board claims that the anticipated elevation of Gonzaga to #1 will somehow raise the level of the entire conference. Is this the case? I don't exactly remember it working out like that for the Big West when UNLV was rated #1....
