Well, one of Eastern's wins came against PSU, however.

NoCo wins by 18. With Kennedy Nicholas out, Sac had literally no answer for Alisha Davis. I'm guessing this marks the end of the Bunky Harkleroad era in Sacramento.

PSU up big on EWU, late-2Q

  • SAC 61-79 UNC; Alisha Davis dominates by going 10/11 from the field, scoring a career-high 32, and grabbing 13 rebounds
_________________ Gabi Bade, Sac's only healthy senior, scored 16 points in her final game

EWU 70-83 PSU; Desirae Hansen, last year's title-game hero, put up 27 points and 7 rebounds (5/6 on treys)
_________________ Eastern finishes 4-26, their worst record in 19 seasons under Wendy Schuller

WEB 58-62 SUU; Rebecca Cardenas single-handedly gets it done for SUU with 28 points, 11 boards, and 7 steals
_________________ Weber won shooting & dominated the boards, but—as usual this year—they lost turnovers badly (30-14)

I think you're being rather generous towards PSU. :D :thumb:

Although we did manage a split against Idaho during the season. I'll be surprised if we do cover.

MSU only beat NoCo by 5 and only shot 36%. Maybe they're more vulnerable than I thought…

PSU isn't as good as last year, but they do seem to be over their 7-game losing streak.

Begs the question, if Idaho and Idaho State play each other, does Boise even care?

:D

Cats hadn't played a game that "Counted" since they won the conference on 2/22... almost 3 weeks of waiting to play a game that matters is a LONG time. (Yes I know every game matters, but they had the conference wrapped up after CAT/griz in Bozeman).

The Cats were still shooting better in those lame-duck games than they did Tuesday, though.

It's not just MSU, either. Idaho couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in their win over PSU.
