Ref Who Collapsed in NCAA Tournament Says it Saved His Life

Bert Smith didn't know he had a blood clot in his lung. They found it at the hospital after he collapsed during the Gonzaga-USC Elite Eight game. A miracle. The fact that a doctor's help did the trick makes it no less a miracle. Had it happened at home or a zillion other places, EMS wouldn't have been so easily available, and he might have died.

Needless to say this person is very fortunate this problem was found in time.

I believe this was posted before I started those. Also, I'm not sure I made one for this thread. I don't do much on the hoops board....
