About the only change I would make to Venus' sheet here (and I'm not even certain about that) would be BBQ over the Bungles....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Probably depends on how tight the refs call it. Fewer whistles favors Seton Sobolewski's borderline thugball style.SuperHornet wrote: ↑Wed Mar 05, 2025 6:22 pm About the only change I would make to Venus' sheet here (and I'm not even certain about that) would be BBQ over the Bungles....

Re: 2025 Women's Big Sky Tournament Thread
If Dykstra is back healthy MSU wins. MSU's depth just overwhelms opponents. With Dykstra back they can go back to pretty much their main rotations and wear down whoever they play in the tournament. Phillips defense is missed, but the combination of Chirrick and Picton will make up for it. Plus, Binford made a comment that she made some coaching mistakes on rotations and getting Morales more involved after the loss to Sac and made some adjustments for Idaho and it showed. This is MSU's tournament to win.

Re: 2025 Women's Big Sky Tournament Thread
The Chelsea Gregg era (likely) came to an end as Portland State fell to UNC by 3 in the first game. It was close throughout, but the Viks couldn't make a game-tying three at the buzzer.
Sac & EWU are tied halfway through the fourth after Eastern led by 10 at the half.

Sac gets a go-ahead baseline floater from Versteeg and a key blocked shot in the final 10 seconds to "upset" EWU by 4.

NAU won't get a chance to lose in their 4th. straight title game as they get upset by Montana by 4.
NAU was the best offensive team in the league by far in the regular season, but they lost their touch for whatever reason in this tournament.
