Which is Better: MAC vs. Horizon League

Last year the MAC seemed to have a down year as teams like Kent State and C. Michigan lost to the likes of Youngstown State, Butler, and Cleveland State during the regular season. In all, the Horizon League went something like 20-6 or 20-8 against the Mid American Conference last year....

That got me wanting to know what you guys thought... What is the better basketball conference?

THE MAC
or THE HORIZON LEAGUE?

The MAC probably got more publicity because of Butler and their Sweet Sixteen run.

I thought that might get your attention.

We had a fun game with them at Hinkle and I'm looking forward to the rematch in Carbondale this year.

After getting beat by #2 UCLA By 31, YSU played very well tonight against the Big Sky's Preseason #1 Weber State. Lead by Senior Guard Byron Davis with 19 and R-Freshmen guard Vance Cooksey with 18, the Penguins beat Weber State 69-66 tonight!

Friday is the home opener against D2 Lock Haven, so before we head to Notre Dame in a week, we will actually be 2-1===Over .500! That is a rarity in Youngstown.

WATCH FOLKS.. YSU Basketball will become a power in the future in the Mid-Major ranks...
GO YSU

I don't know what happened to Weber.
They beat Utah State at home, but then they totally tanked it down in L.A. this week.
