Agreed,
I just don't have any faith in that Denver offense
I have to admit I am damn curious about this game - Poor Denver

It might be ugly

Hopefully Carolina wins.

Interesting factoid I saw in the Detroit News (or maybe Free Press) this morning. Both Ron Rivera and Gary Kubiak interviewed to be the Lions head coach the two most recent times the job was open. Then it understated that they arguably had found better positions. :ohno:

I think the Panthers win, and probably easily as well. Just can't see Denver generating enough points to be a real threat. I think they slow the Panthers down as Denver's defense is legit, but Denver's offense is just anemic. Patriots didn't have much on defense but it was like watching the '85 Bears defense out there. Panthers clearly have a better defense than the Pats. I say Panthers by 2-3 TD's.

It's funny reading this, knowing that a few weeks ago you said they wouldn't win a single playoff game.

The big thing was getting through Seattle, and they almost didn't do that. Once they got past that hurdle it got a lot easier. They played their toughest competition they'll see in the playoffs in that first game, hence the chance they'd be one and done.

The gif that somebody used here with the Lombardi Trophy being snapped over Manning's right shoulder was epic.

Yep. As people have discussed here, there's just too much parity in the league to make big, bold predictions with any amount of certainty.

I guess I have to pick Carolina but I will be pulling for Denver. I like their defense plus Cam Newton is a prick.

Not even close. Denver will have more endurance.

Broncos 31
Panthers 2

(No, that's not a typo. The Broncos D will keep Newton bottled up, and Manning will take an intentional near the end.)

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

The Broncos hit Brady 20 times - the most any QB has been hit in a single game since 2006

Cam Newton is a much different QB
1st - His Offensive Line is not in a shambles
2nd - He runs a 4.5 Forty
3rd - He's 255 lbs
