The Atlanta Falcons have hired Kansas City Titans (WFA) quarterback Katie Sowers as a coaching intern for this summer. To the best of my knowledge, this makes THREE women who have been or are currently on NFL coaching staffs in the last year. Sowers is part of a sister act in KC (sister Liz is a top WR) that has the Titans perennially at the top of the WFA.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
