A decade with Jeff Fisher...
We all knew this was coming when they started giving everyone that wanted 15m a year what they wanted after their super bowl.SDHornet wrote:They also had an OL last season...so there's that. Heard on the radio this morning that Seattle pays the lowest of their salary cap to the OL...and is a whopping 51% less than the next closest team.Chizzang wrote:The Seahawks were 2 and 2 last season...
They tend to start very slow
Go dig up the posts from that off season and the off season leading into last year. It was said repeatedly that giving every free agent they even though about sitting out the money they did would hurt them in the long run.

And they're 3-1 with a pair of road wins and beat up Wilson heading into a much needed bye week where they can get healthy.clenz wrote:We all knew this was coming when they started giving everyone that wanted 15m a year what they wanted after their super bowl.SDHornet wrote: They also had an OL last season...so there's that. The Seahawks aren't a surprise - the RAMS are...

How long can Chuck Pagano last at Indy? It seems like the excuse with that team is "He's got a great QB, but no defense and no running back and Chuck had cancer". Yeah well, it's been 4 years since he had cancer (did you know? Not sure if that's ever been mentioned before) and his defense has gotten worse every year...he hasn't had a running back break 100 yards in something like 51 games (I believe I heard that stat on Sunday? Correct me if I'm wrong). I get that coaches inherit bad teams. But his team is well beyond the point of inheritance.
Why Luck would sign his life away to the COLTS drug addled owner and mediocre coach is amazing
Were I Andrew Luck (and I'm not) I would have played out my contract and had the pick of the litter

Teams that would have sold their soul for Luck on the open market
Denver
Dallas
Dolphins
Bills
Rams
Redskins
and probably more
Seriously, how does Pagano still have a job?

Irsay is too preoccupied with hookers and blow to bother firing him.bandl wrote:BumpChizzang wrote:

Seahawks have 92 million of their 146m spent tied up in 10 players.

He is living off a Super Bowl appearance in which he LOST!!!!!!!!!!!! He can't coach defense either you might want to check with a guy named KURT WARNER that chewed his defense up for a Super Bowl record 414 yds passing!!!!!!!Chizzang wrote:I don't disagree with ^ thatCAA Flagship wrote: Not really. Bradford was not a bad pick. He just couldn't stay healthy. Austin and Gurley were good picks.
He just can't coach offense. Or can't find an OC who can.
But to call him inconsistent in the draft - would be a compliment
And wouldn't you say that "offense" is a HUGE part of the NFL
So you're kind of making my point for me (Thank you)

Jeff should've video taped the other sideline in the first half in that Super Bowl and then made halftime adjustments. Rookie mistake.dal4018 wrote:He is living off a Super Bowl appearance in which he LOST!!!!!!!!!!!! Lo and behold! The genius is now the interim HC, and hopefully will become the PERMANENT HC by the time the season is over....SuperHornet wrote:They already have a great offensive mind on the staff. Of course, he's not actually coaching offense. He's coaching special teams....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
