You could also say that the 49ers will have 4 head coaches in 4 seasons and none of the 4 were interim coaches.

Only twice in the last 40 years has an NFL team had back-to-back one-and-done head coaches, and BOTH times, it was the Whiners. The problem this year wasn't Kelly; it was York, and he seems constitutionally incapable of admitting his own fault for ANYTHING. This is exactly what the Raiders just endured for the last decade and a half; it will probably take the 49ers as long to recover from York's incompetence...unless someone can find a way to replace him with Eddie DeBartolo....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

DeBartolo is in the freeze-dried section, right next to Ted Williams.

Still alive, according to Wiki! But Bronco will probably tell us that Wiki is run by liberals and can't be relied upon.

You're right, 93. He's alive, but his career was put into Han Solo mode.

Roger that. Hey, did you ever hear the story about the practical jokers at the cryo lab hitting poor Ted's frozen head with a monkey wrench to knock off a tuna can that was stuck to it?

Wonder if Chip could be hired by Minnesota and fired by Minnesota to keep his streak alive.
