How do they make the list? Be retired for 5 years. That's the only criteria.

And Jason Varitek? Seriously? Tim Wakefield?

Larry Walker should most definitely be in, lifetime .317 hitter 338 HRs 230 stolen bases and played defense, dude had a rocket arm in right field. He did it without juicing, you could tell that from his physique!

I would add Ivan Rodriquez, Bagwell Raines and Hoffman.

The rest of those I agree, how the fuck did they get on the list. Bonds, Sosa and Clemens better never make it

The only disturbing thing now is how commonplace it's becoming to have voters say they're fine with Bonds and Clemens getting into the HOF and that we just need to get past all the cheating they did in their careers. It was bad enough that they let Bud Selig into the HOF (for what I have no idea - weak leader that let the steroids era happen in the first place, handled the All-Star game like the clown he was, and pretty much stumbled through the rest of his tenure as commish), but to let in guys who cheated, lied about cheating, and today still don't really care that they cheated, is just abhorrent. Writers and other voters of the HOF have little to no credibility these days.

Well, Bagwell, Raines, and Pudge Rodriguez made it. Not bad!

Agreed, but it's the coming storm and the writers' laying down in the face of it that is drawing my ire. :ohno:

Agreed, that shows you how rigged all of the past FBS national championships were when they were picked by sportswriters. When they let Bonds and Clemens in I am done with baseball the same way I left the NFL 8 years ago.

I have no problem with Rose getting in the hall of fame he just needs to be dead before he goes in. I dont want him enjoying any of it because he is a scumbag and paved the way for other cheaters like Bonds, McGuire, Sosa & Clemens

I don't like Bonds and Clemens getting in either. Had suspected Pudge used as he really slimmed down after the crackdown on roids.

The Baseball Hall of Fame is not the MLB Hall of Fame, but most of the members are MLB players.
