To have gotten that high I mean far up...in a company as an addict is both pretty slick and really sad...
He had to hide it from lots of people...people who today must be asking themselves what signal did they miss...
Or maybe they didn't miss the signal but were afraid to say anything...that's the really sad part...
On a side not, from the article, I thought Disney purchased the entertainment side of 21st Century...I thought in addition to Fox News, that Fox Sports was not part of the purchase...

OK, I checked again...Fox keeps Fox Sports and FS1 & FS2, but the regionals go to Disney...

When I briefly worked private sector (never again, never again), my boss was the plant manager. I noticed that he had wild swings in performance. Some days he was the consummate professional, teaching me the ins of the business, being supportive, and cracking a good joke. Other days, he was sweaty, had a thousand yard stare, and seemed like he might break out a pistol and kill everyone. Totally hard to read from day to day.Col Hogan wrote:To have gotten that high I mean far up...in a company as an addict is both pretty slick and really sad...

Well, a few months in, I had established rapport with all the hourly plant workers and found out through the grapevine that he had a raging coke problem. This was near Chester PA (a terrific shithole) and the negros all knew each other. The people on the floor knew he was a cokehead and they knew his dealer.
Talk about being in a compromising position. Sure enough, he later pissed off a female negro and his little habit was exposed, he was ordered to get piss tested on the spot, failed and was terminated.

You don't really strike me as "private sector" material either...
