yeah but Pete Carroll lacks the creativity of the Eagles staff
He's a "This is how we do it" guy and runs the same offense and same defense regardless

Which signals "The End" for Seattle this season

You may have missed my quick edit on the last page. Eagles have to beat Giants first. Not a gimme, or even close to one.

Also, Marshawn Lynch is meeting with the Seahawks today to discuss possible terms. True story.

Always an awesome day after when the Eagles beat the cowboys. Never saw that defensive effort coming - holding dallas to no touchdowns. Miles Sanders runs the ball 20 times and Elliott only gets 13 carries. It'll be sad to see Jason Garrett go, as I'm sure Urban Myer will run Elliott a lot more, but such is the price of victory. All the Eagle have to do now is win a home game on the road in Jersey - not a gimmie by any stretch, especially with the Eagles pulling people from the stands to play on offense, but one they should win.

Oh - anyone catch the Eagles fan who made it into the post game press conference and actually asked a question of Doug Pederson before everyone realized he was just a fan and not a member of the media? That's an awesome fanbase when you can get into the post game press conference. Well done.

Jonathan Stewart is reportedly interested as well.

How Eagles’ Rick Lovato made history with Pro Bowl nod
Lovato, who attended Middletown South High School, leads all NFL long snappers with five special teams tackles through 14 games.

Tomorrow's going to be a memorable trip to MetLife. Gonna be a driving rain and about 40F if TWC is correct. Perfectly shitty weather. Got the ponchos ready. Gotta pick up some rubber boots for the boy. I'll wear my Bean duck boots.

Expecting a down to the wire game. The Giants would love to spoil, especially after the Eagles pulled ahead 87-86-2 in the all-time series a few weeks ago.

Gotta defend Say Kwan like they defended Zeke, and get to Jones a little to force him into fumbles and mistakes. The Giants secondary is perhaps worse than the Eagles (yeah, read that twice), so you have to come out firing with Wentz. Could be a tough day for cutmonster Sanders on a wet rug. Might be some better opportunities for the more north-south running Howard.

Rain on a plastic field = win the turnover battle or die.

I expect some points to be scored, with the two God-awful secondaries. My prediction:

They could be the NFC's #1 seed still! Unlikely, but possible.

The one certainty is that the loser of SF@SEA travels to Philly or Dallas next week.

I do NOT want that 49ers D next week. I hope they destroy the Hawks tomorrow.

First trip to MetLife. Nice, symmetrical stadium. Parking is a bit wonky, but the shuttles run well.

Light rain. Not too cold. Mid 40s. Light wind, but this place is such a cavern that the goalpost flags are barely moving.

Soaking in the hotel jacuzzi in East Rutherford. What a game!

Don't even care what happens now. 5-7 to 9-7 and NFC East champs. That's overachieving with the injuries this year. I'm completely content.

Mad props to Carson Wentz. First 4,000+ yard passer in a season for the Eagles, and he did it without a single WR getting 500 yards.

Great W yesterday - incredible considering all the injuries this team has had. Whatever happens with Seattle next Sunday happens.

Dougie P should get some consideration for Coach of the Year. Undefeated in December with this roster?

Major contributors yesterday from the practice squad:
Boston Scott
Greg Ward
Deontay Burnett - WHO?
