It's pointless, but I agree with them sort of.

I believe titles of proven cheaters (Astros, NE Patriots, 1919 White Sox, etc) should be vacated. I don't believe they should go to anyone else though. Who's to say the ALCS runner up wouldn't have beaten the Dodgers?

The penalty for organizational cheating should be forever. Vacating is appropriate.

If the Dodgers gets the World Series title, than Michigan deserves the 2013 NCAA title in basketball.

There's no proof that the so-called "Black Sox" actually cheated. And given their Series averages, it sure looks like they at least legitimately TRIED to win the Series, at least at the plate.

I'm not going to complain too loudly about them, though, as my Reds won 5 games to 4 (it was a 9-game Series back then).

Just saw that Chicago had a guy named Eddie Murphy, who hit .486 with an OPS over 1.1, albeit over only 30 games that year,....
