Look, I know a major is supposed to be challenging, but it shouldn't be IMPOSSIBLE. When you have as many big names a touchdown or more over par as they have, the course is WAY too hard....

he cost himself a shitload of money on that back nine. Not sure he cares, but man it was painful to watch (unless your name is Brooks Koepka).

Just looked at the results. Phil was nearly FOUR FIELD GOALS over par. Two guys who MADE THE CUT finished nearly three full TOUCHDOWNS over par. Only a dozen players were under par, and another two were even par. Fifty-eight guys who made the cut were over par, and of those fourteen were double digits over par. To me, while you don't want to see three touchdowns under par in a major, THIS is way over the top the other way. This course was WAY too hard. SMH....

As a casual golf observer/watcher, I appreciate the tougher courses for the US Open. This is what these guys do for a living. It SHOULD be an extreme challenge.
