I don't know much about Marquez, and I'd LOVE to see Mayweather get his ass beat, but I don't think it's gonna happen. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

this is foreplay for the eventual Mayweather-Pacquiao epic down the road.

Mayweathers going to destroy Marquez.

and then... Pacquiao is going to end Mayweathers streak... I watched him take down Ricky Hatton like he was fighting a junior high punk... he's the real deal

I know Floyd is the fighter folks love to hate- but I don't believe a Pacquiao victory over Floyd is eminent. Remember- Pacquiao still has to get by Cotto in November. That is not going to be the easiest fight for Pacquiao. Remeber- Pacquaio is a natural lightweight/flyweight. Cotto walks around at light heavyweight size but fights middleweight. So, in essence, we are looking at a natural 120 pound guy bulked up to 154 fighting a natural 175 pounder who cut to 154.

Warm-up fight for Mayweather.

BTW, I love 24/7 on HBO. Best sport's related series on TV in a long long time.

I mean where else are you going to see Marquez drink his own urine to prepare for Mayweather?

i get all of that... but i was at the MGM and watched Hatton's fight before Pacquiao... he looked unstoppable - then watched Pacquiao Hatton.... Pacquiao is the fastest and hardest hitting boxer i've seen at any weight class - i think he blows through cotto as a prelude to biggest middleweight fight ever... you imagine the buyrate on THAT fight??? I'm not a huge boxing guy - but i'd buy it.

as for mayweather - it's not that i love to hate him at all... i just think Pacquiao can take him.

Marquez drinks his own urine every day after he is done with his training session. Urine therapy. They showed him drinking it last week. I yacked in my mouth a little.

1. I know a couple of twelve year olds at Charles Houston rec center in Alexandria that can beat Pauli Malinaggi, so that result is not a cogent argument of Hatton's prowess and thus Pacquiao's prowess in beating Hatton.

2. Mayweather-Pacquiao will be the first $100 million fight (purses), so I agree completely with you on that point.

3. I can tell with your analysis of the Hatton-Malinaggi fight.

This is a "who cares?" fight. Mayweather is nothing more than a running mouth. I'll watch Leonard re-runs before I fork over the dough to watch Mayweather. Heck, I didn't even buy the card featuring Mayweather vs. Big Show, and I LOVE WWE.

Maywater is a punk, I want to see him back up his claim that he would bust up and knock out the best MMA fighter w/o breaking a sweat.

I kinda doubt that the quarterback's daughter is going into the cr@pper as fast as Shamrock did.
