I don't see how they can do that. What if the baseball game goes extra innings. Something has to give there. It would for the Twins if the game has to be played in Detroit because of a scheduling conflict.

LMAO... MLB says the Twins have priority over the Vikings in this situation and that the Vikings would be the ones looking for other plans.

Meantime the NFL says no, the only time the Twins get priority is for a World Series game.

Verlander was dealing until the 8th when a little leftover "metrodome magic" revealed itself and the twins posted 5 in the 8th (including a BOMB by Michael Cuddyer) to win 6-2. The Twins are improbably now only 2 games out of first!!!

I remember one time the Twins had a noon game and it went to 12 innings, but they had to postpone the game for another day so the Metrodome staff could prepare for the Minnesota home football game that night.

Of course, this is a much bigger deal, so it'll be interesting. I can see the Twins have the afternoon and the Vikings the night. And if the game goes to extras, tough luck for the Vikings and the game will start later than usual.

not happening - the MSFC has been on record - plus the NFL spokesperson was quoted in the Star-Tribune as saying "they can flip-flop the home games with Green Bay" which is what would likely happen.

the Twins however won again last night in KC (in a very strange game... ah well, win ugly i guess) while the Tigers lost in Chicago thanks to likely ROY Gordon Beckham... the lead is back to 2 for Detroit... great start to the weekend!
