Merlin Olsen Dies

Post by AZGrizFan »

Outland Trophy winner from Utah State, 14 consecutive pro bowls, member of the "Fearsome Foursome", all-time tackles leader for the Rams,

As a child I was a HUGE Rams fan....still have signed 8x10's of Merlin Olsen, Deacon Jones, Jack Youngblood, Jack Snow & Roman Gabriel in a binder---back in the day when you could send them a letter and they'd respond with a signed photo.

One of the true legends of the game.

Same here regarding the Rams. Jack Youngblood is my favorite player of all time.

I'm very sorry to hear of Olsen's passing away.

RIP Merlin.

Sad news. Great player and a classy guy.
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.
