Question for Diamondback Fans
Max Scherzer is scheduled to pitch for the Tigers tonight. What can we expect from him?

Re: Question for Diamondback Fans
110 pitches in 6 innings. Dude throws a LOT of pitches. Fast (97, 98 MPH)....lots of strikes...he'll only get better, but the knock on him was he couldn't go deep enough into games and the bullpen was always going to be needed for 3-4 innings with him on the bump.

Thanks.
I read the other day that Daniel Schlereth (sp?) got sent to the minors, but I'm hoping he can add some bullpen depth before long.

Didn't know you were a Tigers fan.AshevilleApp wrote:AZGrizFan wrote:110 pitches in 6 innings. Dude throws a LOT of pitches. Thanks.I'm hoping this trade works out for both teams. Edwin Jackson had a strong year for the Tigers last season.

Schlereth got called up way too early by the DBacks. He needs some seasoning. He'll be good for you though.AshevilleApp wrote:AZGrizFan wrote:110 pitches in 6 innings. Dude throws a LOT of pitches. Nice. Never followed them much until I moved to Lansing for a couple of years. I've got a couple of buddies from GR that are rabid fans too. There's a bar in Greensboro (can't remember the name now) that is a Detroit bar...they always show games of Detriot teams.AshevilleApp wrote:Rabid. If you remember, let me know. I get down there from time to time, and I'd like to check it out.
