Tiger Woods' troubled career took another blow Monday, when one of his coaches said he would no longer be working with golf's No. 1 player.
"Just so there is no confusion, I would like to make it clear that this is my decision," Hank Haney, Woods' swing coach, said in a statement posted to his website. "Tiger Woods and I will always be friends, but I believe that there is a time and place for everything, and I feel at this time and at this place in my life I want to move forward in other areas."
IMHO, the wheels have officially come off of Tiger's game.
Things are starting to pile up on poor little Tiger.
Maybe he should think about using a real name and dump the Tiger thing.

He's had plenty of troubles before and was written off before (see 2003 & 2004) yet he had no trouble bouncing back. Funny how quickly people forget about that time period when he didn't win a major and that he had major surgery on his left knee in 2003, then hired a new coach and then went on to win the Masters and Open Championship in 2005.
But without the girl and with less sponsors to worry about, now he's got even more time to work on his game.
And are you serious with that last one? Money troubles?

Heard a caller on sports talk this morning make a great analogy. He said Tiger is just like Mike Tyson. Overwhelmed EVERYONE with his power. Knocked people out before they knew what hit him (Tiger won all of his Majors with the lead). Then personal problems starting creeping in as did physical faults. YE Yang beating Tiger in a Major was his Buster Douglas moment.

Mostly I threw that one in there for fodder, but he's about to lose $500,000,000. I don't care who you are, that's a lot of money. And his gravy train has slowed considerably with all the sponsors that have dumped him.
