Well, as much as I think the Celts are still a lock to win the series, Orlando does have 2 of the possible remaining 3 games at home. But I don't think the Magic have the complimentary big guys to win.Col Hogan wrote:I'm willing to wager the comparison ends there...bluehenbillk wrote:Bruins up 3-0, lose Game 4 in OT, go on to lose the next 3.

Anyone that doesn't like David Stern, or the other powers that fix the NBA should be rooting for an Orlando-Phoenix Finals...

We could only hope. A Orlando/Phoenix Finals would be something I might watch. But if either Boston or L.A. are in it, count me out.dbackjon wrote:Could there be sequel?

Bruins up 3-0, lose Game 4 in OT, get hammered in Game 5, go on to lose the next 2.bluehenbillk wrote:Bruins up 3-0, lose Game 4 in OT, go on to lose the next 3.

So Kornholer accused the company he works for of fixing the eastern conference finals, on the air? How does the dude still have a job?93henfan wrote:I was listening to the Tony Kornheiser show on DC radio today and they pitched an interesting conspiracy theory. ESPN stood to lose many millions of dollars in advertising revenue had the BOS/ORL series been a sweep. They mentioned how cozy the Celtics star players are with ESPN and how the Celtics (both Pierce and Rondo) seemingly blew opportunities at the end of regulation in Game 4 as well as in overtime to win the game. Then they discussed how shady NBA refs are in general, what with one being convicted of taking bribes a couple years ago, and then pointe out the very fishy technical fouls called on the Celtics early in Game 5, one of which could become a suspension for Game 6.
Take it with a grain of salt, but I found it interesting.
He mentioned someone else's conspiracy theory. He did not present it as his own.Grizalltheway wrote:So Kornholer accused the company he works for of fixing the eastern conference finals, on the air? So if I were to present the Bible in a high school science class, as someone else's theory and not mine, that would be okay...right?93henfan wrote:He mentioned someone else's conspiracy theory. He did not present it as his own.Grizalltheway wrote:

Yes, if your high school is ESPN.clenz wrote:So if I were to present the Bible in a high school science class, as someone else's theory and not mine, that would be okay...right?93henfan wrote:

Ah, I see. I still wouldn't bring it up if I were in his position.93henfan wrote:He mentioned someone else's conspiracy theory. He did not present it as his own.Grizalltheway wrote:
