They throw batteries, piss, vomit, anything, at our players and fans, in Mexico and the US, their team will not acknowledge ours after a game, when they lose it's because their players were tired from flying from Europe, it just goes on and on. They have zero class and deserve all the scorn that's coming their way.

Keeper was off his line - gotta have 2 defenders between you and the goal - that's why it was (correctly) called off-sides...

Yeah:

“A player is in an offside position if he is nearer to his opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent.”

I was thinking that offsides can't be called on corner kicks, but that only applies to directly playing the ball, much like a throw in. Had the Mexican player who "scored" the goal touched the ball first, there would have been no problem. However, once the ball was deflected, offsides can be called.

In the heat of the moment, it looks like the ref blew the call... thus my reaction, but it was actually the right one and a very good one.
