I'm really disappointed. It's sad when the good ones leave, and he's definitely that.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Its been discussed for him to get behind the plate perhaps on the final weekend. Since the season is a washout, I wouldn't be surprised to see them stunt on his farewell night by having him spend three innings behind the plate, three at second and three in centerfield. That would actually be a cool reminder to the rest of America of his incredible career.
