I kind of get what he's getting at, but an at-bat for a team can mean their entire portion of an inning, not just 1 player with 1 at-bat.
Exactly. Not only can it mean that, it often does.

The writer should have worded it better. It made it sound like someone hit a 7-run home run.

I think that this Giants lineup might be one of the worst lineups in the history of world series champions (on paper) if they finish this thing off. Its pretty remarkable what they have done with the players that they have right now. Bunch of washed up players, journeymen, and role players.

Lee won't go 2-1 because they won't pitch him three times. I'd put money on that.

Good pitching beats good hitting. Giants in 6.... as long as the Rangers didn't learn one thing from the Phillies. Take pitches against Sanchez, it pisses him off. Just look at his two starts in the NLCS.
If they're down 2-1 or 3-0 he pitches game 4, bank it... and if theres a game 7 he pitches it, bank it. If they are up 2-1 or 3-0 he dont go game 4.

Glad I listen to the voices in my head and not yours.

Well that was boring, huh? I was hoping the Rangers would have won at least one of the last two to make it somewhat more interesting. Oh well.

The Giants are a boring team to watch, albeit obviously very good. That's what pitching does.

Gotta tip the hat to the Giants GM for the waiver work this year and Bochy for making all the right gameday moves. Sometimes you're good and sometimes you're lucky and the Giants were both. Just a great run through October/early Nov this year.

Won't matter - the Yanks will still overpay for him as they can't afford to let him slip by this time. They just don't have the starting pitching to win a WS so they have to get him, his most recent WS withstanding.

That's what awesome pitching does for you, and that you don't need a billion dollar payroll to win championships.
