What's the ruling?

Post by SuperHornet »

The lights are out during the third quarter of the DAL-NYG game.

If that turns out to be a hard fail, is everything wiped out, or does Dallas (up 26-6) win?

I'm wanting to make an analogy of halftime to the all-important fifth inning of a baseball game, but I have no idea if this is actually reflected in NFL rules.

I guess the point is now moot, but this would still be good to know for the future.

Well if the NFL doesn't have a contingency for this right now I bet they'll have one before next week.

if conditions prevented a game from being finished it would be halted and resumed at a later time from where the game was at the time it was halted.
