Don Meredith, the legendary Dallas Cowboys quarterback and memorable "Monday Night Football" commentator, died Sunday night at the age of 72 in Santa Fe, N.M.

If memory serves, he was the first big Cowboys draft choice. Not happy....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
