New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards told the New York Daily News that he believed that the Patriots ran up the score during Monday night's 45-3 New England victory.

"They embarrassed us on purpose," Edwards said. "We can’t let that happen again. I don’t want to say that they ran it up, but at the end of the day, they ran it up. If you look at what happened, yeah, they ran it up. But that’s football. It’s rivalry. It’s two guys (Rex Ryan and Bill Belichick) that probably don’t like each other through the rivalry. We probably would have done the same thing."
