It's been a long road down for Tiger Woods since his cheating scandal came to light last year. Not only has his family life been ripped apart, but so has his golf game and, unlike Brett Favre, his numerous sponsorships.
Now, Woods won't even be appearing on the cover of the latest version of the video game that bears his name, Reuters reports.
On March 29th, video game giant Electronic Arts will release "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters" on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii, Reuters reports.
Since 1999, Woods has appeared on the cover of the bestselling golf video game. This year, he's been replaced with the iconic yellow flag from The Masters golf course in Augusta, Ga., according to the report
Seriously, this is great for Tiger. People think he's being screwed by this but really, with that flag on there, sales of this game should be huge. Tiger's not on the cover but he'll be smiling plenty at the bank cashing the checks. Tough life.

Sales would be even better if they put Elin's picture on the cover!

With the look of that cover it appears EA is slowly re-branding their golf game. The fact that they used MASTERS as the title and Tiger Woods PGA tour 12 as the subtitle probably means they will eventually move to the permanent title of just MASTERS in the future.
I was fortunate enough to get a couple of days of the practice rounds at August a few years ago - I'll definitely pick this game up for PS3 to see how realistic it is (and Augusta sets the bar pretty damned high).
