Last month, a four-point shot was instituted for games involving the Harlem Globetrotters. They installed two circles on each side of mid-court about 35-feet away from the hoop. It's already been used to great effect.
Any chance it catches on in "mainstream" hoops?

Basketball has a new rule....
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
