Jason Varitek, having turned down arbitration that would have gotten him $10-$12m for one year (on the advise of his asshole agent Scott Boras) today signed a two year deal with the Red Sox that has a potential value of $8 - $10m over two years...

Re: Varitek Signs with Sox
Be careful, Hogan. I was scared for a second that Varitek had jumped to the OTHER Sox. I just can't see that guy playing for ANYBODY outside of Boston.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
