For me so far, the Hawks have met my expectations. I was thinking they would have around 3-4 wins before the season, and it looks like that will probably happen. As soon as they didn't re-sign Hasselbeck and brought in Jackson, it was hard not to see this coming. It's too bad that they won't suck enough to get Luck, but Barkley out of USC looks like a nice second option.

Yeah, pretty much met my expectations too, and I think 4 or 5 wins is probably where we finish. We still have 1 game against Arizona and two against St. Louis, and we aren't a truly terrible team, just a below average one, so I wouldn't be surprised to see us win one against Dallas or Washington or something. Barkley wouldn't be a bad pick up, he's definitely talented and we know that Pete loves him.

Impressive win today for the hawks. Didn't see that one coming. Defense played well and Lynch went into beast mode!

And nice win by the Cards, going into Philly and putting the nail in the coffin on their season.

Seattle going to 7-7 today has far exceeded my expectations. If only they had a half decent QB, the team could have been in the Wild Card this season. But I give Pete Carroll an A for getting this group to .500.

Our defense is nasty.

I think there's a fairly decent chance that we do sneak into the 6th seed. Oakland is going toe to toe with Detroit right now, up by 3. Then the Lions get an always dangerous Rivers-led Chargers, and then @ Green Bay.

We're doing way better than expected, which means we're gonna have to trade up to grab the QB we want. Hopefully there's a team willing to deal.

I'm sure SD fans wish that were the case.

I was led to believe that T-Jax was a top level NFL QB....better than all but the elite QB's in the NFL.

Who was claiming that?
