Skelton has simply outperformed Kolb this year, and that fact is measured by the overall results on the field. Yes, Skelton makes mistakes, like any other 23-year-old quarterback in the NFL, but he has shown the ability to pick himself up and lead even after the worst of his errors. Like many quarterbacks at his experience level, he throws more INTs than TDs, but that will eventually take care of itself with experience.
Kolb is owed a multi-million roster bonus in the spring. How can the Cardinals pay that to a guy who has proven to be concussion-prone and has been outplayed by the other QB on the roster? The Cards need to go with the guy who wins games and let him grow in experience with this team.
