Suggestion for the Saints

Post by SuperHornet »

Forget the expense of bringing in someone new (especially at the expense Bill Parcells would engender) to sub for the suspended Sean Payton. Just name Drew Brees acting head coach. He's respected on the team, and he would already have good people around him.

It's been done before, and it would save money. Why not?

I think a woman head coach would have more of an impact. What are your thoughts?

That would depend on whom. Just like the WNBA, there aren't all that many women coaching women's teams. The Sirens have one. Heck, there's a DC high school with a woman coaching the varsity boys. But there just aren't all that many female coaches out there yet. The number is increasing, but the pace is slow.

Oh, please. Why does every woman who does anything in sports HAVE to be gay?

:ohno:

Superhorney, Whoopi Goldberg and Wanda Sykes are lesbians that have played coaches of male teams in movies. :twocents:

Not familiar with those movies. I AM, however, familiar with Goldie Hawn coaching a male football team.

Now, that's patent hogwash, Mark. I seriously doubt that every softball player at Coastal is gay.
