If you get the chance, please support it by watching the games. You won't be able to watch it on TV because the U.S. isn't covering it, but you can watch it online http://www.paralympic.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; these are amazing athletes that have overcome their disability and are a true inspiration. Many are soldiers who have been wounded in battle, many were born with their conditions, some received their disability because of an accident. Whatever the case, they overcame.
Quite amazing, the Paralympics begin two weeks after the main Olympic event and is hosted in the same city as the Olympics. Good luck Team USA!

Especially Pistorius....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

He is actually going to have a contender that could challenge him. The mans name is Blake Leeper (also a double amputee, USA) and ran the exact same time in the 100m as Pistorius. Should be interesting.

That's GREAT news, jmufan. As much as I like Pistorius, NOBODY should have gold handed to them on a silver platter....
