Tebow to JAX: Nearly a done deal
It looks 2013 will be Tebow Time in Jacksonville. ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that the Jags owner wanted Tebow last year, and is sure to get him now, either via trade or free agency. This blogger outlines why this move will get Jacksonville out of the cellar, and Tebow will become the star he truly is.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Good work Jags! Teblow is clearly the big time player you need to get your franchise out of the toilet.

You may like but the football ppl didn't like. That is why Tebow is in Gotham as opposed to Jacksonville. They didn't want to be a circus. They felt he couldn't play the role of a conventional QB.SuperHornet wrote:It looks 2013 will be Tebow Time in Jacksonville. I saw what he did with the Broncos (and what Orton FAILED to do). Sure, I like the guy for his faith. But I ALSO recognize his status as a great player, even if OTHERS are too closed-minded to do so. There are people around here that would trash him after he wins a Super Bowl.

Re: Tebow to JAX: Nearly a done deal
V, you just lost all cred when you stated that a QB who set SB records wasn't any good. If you'd left it at Dilfer, you might have had a point, but you took it WAY too far....

Re: Tebow to JAX: Nearly a done deal
You mean Namath, the guy who barely completed over 50% of his passes, threw WAY more interceptions than TDs and had a career passer rating of something like 65? Sounds like an awesome QB!SuperHornet wrote:V, you just lost all cred when you stated that a QB who set SB records wasn't any good. Or do you mean Williams the QB who completed less than 50% of his passes and had a passer rating of 69?

Re: Tebow to JAX: Nearly a done deal
Let's see. I helped lead a team to the playoffs and beat the #1 defense in the first round. Then I wait for my opportunity as the #2 QB all season for a chance to start over the hapless Sanchez. Next, i get passed over by the #3 QB who hasn't done shit in the NFL. Yeah, I'd be pissed too.

Re: Tebow to JAX: Nearly a done deal
yep three whole points against the Cheifs, better yet that whopping 18 point per game average the Broncos had in all his 2011 starts. He can pull that off in Jacksonville.SuperHornet wrote:I saw what he did with the Broncos (and what Orton FAILED to do). Sure, I like the guy for his faith. Re: Tebow to JAX: Nearly a done deal
Again, Tebow is a great guy and a great athlete, somebody put the idea in his head that he needs to play QB though, and that is his stumbling block.
If he learns to block, he will be a great fullback, if not, he will be out of the league in a years time, regardless who he signs with. He sucks as an NFL QB, and nobody except SH will argue that, and remember he likes girl QBs so should be no surprise he tinks Tebow is a QB.
