My cat is really into the 500 right now. Usually she doesn't even care when the TV is on, but she's been staring intensely at it. Maybe the cars look like bugs or it's the noises.

As 93 vaguely hinted, Danica Patrick has won the pole for the Daytona 500! Amazingly, there was only one other driver to challenge her. Patrick and Jeff Gordon were the only drivers to pass 196 mph on Pole Day.

Now for Danica to go from pole to pole for the win....
