This call came from the third quarter of the Everett Reign @ Utah Blitz. Everett won on the road 22-6, and this might have been a key call in an otherwise well-called game, so says my friend who goes to spring games from Seattle to L.A. and even out to Utah.
Say what you will about the quality of play. What I'm really interested in is the call. Everett (the team in green) was up 8-6, and it was 3rd and long. The side judge threw the flag, and the Reign went on to score. Is that the right call?

PI or not PI?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Thanks, mman. It appears that I didn't check the settings. He's got it set to "friends," and it's a FB video, not a Youtube one. The last Reign video on Youtube is from 06 APR.
The gist was this: the receiver stopped without making a play on the ball, the receiver made SOMETHING of a play on it, but ran into the receiver (away from the line of scrimmage), barely. The key here is that the pass was WAY over their heads and uncatchable. The side judge threw the flag, and everyone who's seen it on FB has concluded that the call was wrong. It DEFINITELY changed the course of the game, though.
