So when did this one happen because that is a mix of funny and sad? If you look at the crowd behind, I can't see anyone reacting to this which surprises me.

I don't know anyone that sits in the first 5 rows of a sports event and actually watches the games. Mostly corporate people that are there to be seen.

Just admit that RA Jr is in the bottom two or three of all MLB GMs and move on. Unless he's family, why bother defending a miserable failure?

Second place in what? The playoffs? I guess you consider the 2008 phils better than any team besides the 1980 phils? 2009, 2010, and 2011 phils were better, but didn't win the WS. I guess Amaro is to blame for that too?

The problem with RAJ is the amount of money for signings. His FAs and trades have mostly worked out.

But if the phils don't make the playoffs this year, I suspect he's gone. Which is the right decision.

Yes, the AJ signing gave me hope. The 1-2-3 in the rotation is solid enough that it could carry them to a wild card. The bullpen, offense, and defense just have to be adequate in that scenario. Of course, if one of the top 3 gets injured, phils will probably finish 4th.
