I've asked you this before but you never answer.

If that was the case Terrell Sinkfield would still be on a squad rather than cut by 4 teams in less than a month last fall
I realize that it's a necessary part of the game maybe this guy Sinkfield has a fear of going over the middle on slant routes!!!! I know that technique&courage plays a very important role in the development of WRs but so does speed.
What was Jerry Rice's 40 yard time? 4.73
Michael Irvin? 4.55
Larry Fitzgerald? 4.63
Henry Ellard? 4.55
Hines Ward? 4.55
TO? 4.5
Chad Johnson? 4.57
Marvin Harrison? 4.5
Cris Carter? 4.63

The 40 yard dash is the most over-hyped/over-rated measurement there is.

I've posted a list for you before about the fastest 40 times recorded at the NFL combine and less than10 of them had any "real" career with only about 3-5 having "good" career.

I know you posted 40 times of these guys and Harrison was a legit 4.3 man coming out of Syracuse he was a Big East Indoor 60m dash champ. When it came to Cris Carter I never believed the hype about him being a deep threat while at Ohio St I knew he would be a possession WR once he entered the NFL.Chad I think was a 4.4 guy coming out of Oregon St.Ward was a possession WR just like Carter not a deep threat the others came into the NFL with reputations as deep threats.

Im not guessing. Those are actual recorded numbers...

I was asking you about each of them individually. Not shocked you didn't pick up on that.

As proof..

False. All of those times are from an NFL combine or verified timings.

Here is a list of the fastest 40 yard times since 2000 and what they've done in their career...
Chris Johnson 2008 RB 4.24
- 1 great season in 2009 and been nothing except slightly above average in an of his other years with 3.9, 4.0 and 4.3 ypc averages for seasons

Dri Archer 2014 RB 4.26
- Rookie...3rd round pick. Likely just a situational scat back and return guy

Marquise Goodwin 2013 WR 4.27
- 1 season 17 total catches

Jerome Mathis 2005 WR 4.28
- 3 season career...6 total catches...5 ypr on punts...24 ypr on kick offs...both of which are average

Jacoby Ford 2010 WR 4.28
-3 seasons into his career with a total of 57 catches for a whopping 22 yards per game...

DeMarcus Van Dyke 2011 CB 4.28
-3 seasons into his career with 11 total tackles and 1 pick

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie 2008 CB 4.29
- 6 seasons 19 picks 226 tackles...great career so far but that's because of his physicality than his speed

Stanford Routt 2005 CB 4.29
-8 year career 12 picks 224 tackles. Average NFL career. Not bad not special. No pro bowls, no awards, no nothing

Trindon Holliday 2010 WR 4.29
- 4 seasons 2 catches for 17 yards...decent kick returner but rather fumble happy when hit. I believe the Broncos cut him

I'll list the others...won't go into detail on their careers because there is nothing to talk about other than Santana Moss, who was a possession guy with just 2 seasons of more than 80 catches and 6 under 50 catches

Fabian Washington 2005 CB 4.29
Darrius Heyward-Bey 2009 WR 4.30
Yamon Figurs 2007 WR 4.30
Darrent Williams 2005 CB 4.30
Tye Hill 2006 CB 4.30
Tyvon Branch 2008 CB 4.31
Justin King 2008 CB 4.31
Jonathan Joseph 2006 CB 4.31
Aaron Lockett 2002 WR 4.31
Santana Moss 2001 WR 4.31

As you can see 40 yard speed is completely overrated. The best WRs and RBs in history are almost all between 4.5 and 4.7
