But, the same thing happened and the scoring started after subbing their striker.
Also, you're starting to think too much about a sport you hate. And starting to sound like an effeminate - possibly communist - European sports fan.
Never said I hated it. But don't like it either for several reasons. The not stopping the clock during the numerous 1/2 minute to several minute stoppages for various reasons, the flopping, could use a little more scoring. The only televised soccer games I have watched in my entire life were in 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010, and 2014, but only because the US was in it.
I have already done something I had never done before. That is watch more than 1-2 games that the US wasn't playing in. Probably have watched 1/2 doz in addition to the US's 4 games. Remains to be seen if I'll do something I have never done before, and that is watch a game after the US has been knocked.Only qtr final game I have ever watched was the 1 the US was in. Never watched a semi final or the final. Regardless, after the next week or 2, the next soccer game I watch will be 2018...until then I'll leave all the soccer watching to the effeminate commie pinkos..
